The property is cheerful, it has super friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff in all areas. The attached restaurant in the hotel is reasonably priced, has awesome dishes. Would use them next time if we go to Houghton-le-Spring, really enjoyed it.

The place is brilliant, the staff are reasonably good and knowledgeable.
Everything is immaculately clean and very good. The building is very comfortable and the rooms are great value for money and newly renovated with tea & coffee, balcony, for example. The location is ideal and excellent, it's just next door to Houghton, the Thai restaurant which was adjoining which was very good and excellent value for money, and beamish & Metrocentre.

Convenient central location not far from Houghton and Durham, Thai restaurant and bus stop. The room was well-equipped and beautifully decorated and complete with tea & coffee as well as bathroom, I had everything needed.

This hotel was located in a central area near to the other restaurant, and a city centre. Really enjoyed our newly decorated room with lovely views and the staff were well managed and competent.

Everything there was really good and the staff were knowledgeable. Had a tastefully decorated room to myself with balcony and coffee plus a very comfortable bed. The breakfast had a wide range of selection, the food was delightful. The location offered was comfortable and peaceful so close to the Thai restaurant which was adjoining which was very good and excellent value for money as well as all local amenities. Also, Down at the Farm was 4 km away.

Thank you everyone for an enjoyable stay for open day visit. I had a very clean bed and awesome bathroom, modern room. The location was handy and ideal for exploring this very friendly area, just next door to Houghton and Durham and the arena. Also, it was 3 km from Elba Park.
